Prestigious and lucrative Bush Foundation awards have been announced, with 15 people named Bush Artist Fellows and three getting Enduring Vision Awards.
Enduring Vision Awards, which focus on propelling the artistic investigations of mature artists, went to Kevin Locke, Michael Sommers and Mary Louise Defender Wilson. Each will receive $100,000 over the next three to five years to encourage their continued influence on present and future generations of artists, audiences and their chosen field of work.
Bush Artist Fellows each receive $50,000 in unrestricted funds and professional development support to deepen and advance their work and to foster their careers as artists.
