Prepare for the new Harry Potter movie with a marathon of the first five today

By Joe Kimball | Published Tue, Jul 14 2009 8:11 am

Unless you're an amazing speed reader, it's probably too late to get up to speed on the Harry Potter series by reading the books today, but you can prepare for tonight's midnight release of the sixth movie featuring the Hogwarts gang with a five-movie marathon at the Mall of America.

Starting at 9 a.m., the Theaters at Mall of America will show each of the previous five Potter movies in order. Tickets are $3 per movie, or $15 for the marathon. The last one starts at 9:15 and runs just over two hours.

Then, you better stretch and eat something, because the new release, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," starts at midnight. And you'll need a separate ticket for that one.
