Minneapolis Musical Theatre gets to the heart of American culture with "The Great American Trailer Park Musical," which opened over the weekend at the Illusion Theater.
The piece, written by David Nehls and Betsy Kelso, features a stripper on the run, an agoraphobic housewife, a tollbooth-collecting husband and a Greek chorus of sorts made up of "trailer park divas." As you might expect, the evening features adult language and situations.
"The Great American Trailer Park Musical" runs through Nov. 22 at the Illusion Theater, eighth floor of the Hennepin Center for the Arts, 528 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis. Tickets are $25-$28. For information and tickets, call (612) 339-4944 or visit online.
