'Disney's Beauty and the Beast' opening Tuesday at the Ordway

The Ordway Theater dips into the Disney box for its latest original production, "Beauty and the Beast." The show runs at the St. Paul performing arts center from this week through the New Year. Patrons will get a chance to experience the story of Belle, the Beast and the household characters.
The cast includes a number of notable local actors, including Jeremiah James (Beast), Laurine Price (Belle), and Bradley Greenwald (Lumiere). Robert Johanson directs the new production.
"Disney's Beauty and the Beast" runs Dec. 15 through Jan. 3 at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, 345 Washington St., St. Paul. Tickets are $63.50 to $80.50. For tickets and more information, call 651.224.4222 or visit online.
