Ashleigh Swenson
Ashleigh grew up on a hog farm outside the west-central prairie town of Hoffman, Minnesota — which instilled in her a deep respect for nature and all her majesty, a love of local history, and a strong pull toward the bright lights of “The Cities.” She has lived in nearly every corner of the Metro, but she and her husband Sam have proudly called Northeast Minneapolis ‘home’ for the past five years.
With a background in the arts, she has been known to freelance as a choreographer, costume designer, wig master, and custom sign painter. Her biggest love is performance — you may have seen her in MinnRoast 2012 at the Pantages Theatre — but she can also be seen singing and dancing as a regular cast member of Minneapolis’ Le Cirque Rouge Cabaret & Burlesque Show.
Also an admitted “news junkie,” Ashleigh couldn’t be more proud or grateful to be a resident of the MinnPost universe, and looks forward to meeting YOU at a MinnPost event soon!
