Dave Beal

Dave Beal, a longtime business columnist for the Pioneer Press and former business editor there, will write about business and the economy. Beal was business editor at the Milwaukee Journal before coming to the Twin Cities and is a past president of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. He is co-author, with Fred Zimmerman, of the 2002 book "Manufacturing Works" and serves as treasurer of the Society of Professional Journalists' Minnesota Chapter and as a member of the Minnesota News Council's hearing board.
