Steve Aschburner
Steve Aschburner has been writing about sports for nearly three decades, covering Major League Baseball, the NBA, the NFL, the NHL and NCAA basketball. He has been president or vice president of the Professional Basketball Writers Association since 2005. Aschburner covered the NBA and Timberwolves for the Minneapolis-based Star Tribune for 13 seasons after serving as a columnist and feature writer for several newspapers. His work also can be found on SportsIllustrated.com, and he wrote a weekly NBA column for AOL Sports for four years. Aschburner's book, "The Good, the Bad & the Ugly: Minnesota Twins,'' (Triumph Books, March 2008) is available here. A graduate of Marquette University and the University of Minnesota who grew up near Chicago, he will be writing about sports and other topics for MinnPost.com.
