Steven Dornfeld has been a government reporter for the Minneapolis Tribune and the St. Paul Pioneer Press, covering the Legislature, politics and public affairs. He has also worked as a Washington, D.C., correspondent for the Pioneer Press, as well as an editorial page writer and editor for the paper. From 2003 to 2011, he was the Metropolitan Council's director of public affairs.
