    Adding a third November prize drawing -- tickets to 'An Evening with Mark Twain'

    We already have two Book Club Club prize drawings coming up in late November. But we just got another donation -- and it’s too literary to pass up.

    "An Evening with Mark Twain: The Trouble Begins at Eight" will be playing at the Northern Vineyards Winery (a working winery) on Main Street in Stillwater the weekend of December 4-6. We have four tickets, and we’ll give them away to one of our 125 registered book clubs. The random drawing will be this Friday, Nov. 20.

    Speaking of plays, we just heard from the Bookwomen, the lucky club that won 10 tickets to “Ruined” at Mixed Blood. “Thanks so much for the 'Ruined' tickets -- our club had a great adventure -- African dinner at the Red Sea and, of course, the play with its look at life as we only know through books, plays and other arts.” The play runs through this Sunday, Nov. 22.

    Last but not least, we’ve decided to skip the mid-November Book Club Club email newsletter. Between the Trivia Battle and Thanksgiving, it's a busy month. The next newsletter will be sent out Nov. 30.
