In today’s random drawing, the Minnesota West Book Club is the winner.
The prize?
Four tickets to "An Evening with Mark Twain: The Trouble Begins at Eight," which will be playing at the Northern Vineyards Winery in Stillwater the weekend of December 4-6. Plus a discount at downtown Stillwater restaurants.
The winning club consists of a dozen faculty and staff at Minnesota West Community and Technical College. They meet on the Worthington campus once a month during the school year. This is their fourth season. And yes, they’re all women.
What they read: Mostly fiction. Some nonfiction. Some local authors.
Recent titles: “Cape Ann” by Faith Sullivan. “Run” by Ann Patchett. “Confessions of a Shopaholic” by Sophie Kinsella. “Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch. “The Girls from Ames” by Jeffrey Zaslow.
Happy travels.
