We’ve got six tickets to give away to a lucky book club, and we’re in a rush.
That's because the play opens this Friday, March 5 and only runs through Sunday, March 14.
The venue? Northern Vineyards Winery in downtown Stillwater.
The plot sounds perfect for a book club excursion. According to the website, “A reclusive librarian finds a book 123 years overdue and he's compelled to embark on a worldwide quest to track down the borrower and in the process uncovers a mystery that transcends the ages...or is he just mad?”
Patrick O'Brien stars as the librarian. Here’s what Star Tribune theater critic Graydon Royce wrote about this production: "LINTEL is seductively entertaining...O’Brien crackles with intensity. He has reached deep inside this odd duck for an honest portrayal that wastes not a single tic, sly wink, or aside. He finds more in the script than Berger perhaps ever intended, and the play is richer for it."
We'll draw the name of the winning club tomorrow morning. Interested? Make sure your club is registered here.
