The Strib columnist from her Wednesday piece "questioning" DFL Secretary of State Mark Ritchie's ability to fairly handle the recount:
Thus far, Ritchie has shown no evidence of misconduct. But many Minnesotans are questioning the openness and transparency of the vote tally that just ended.
"The process must be above reproach," said Rep. Laura Brod, R-New Prague. "So far, that's not the case."
Always fun to inveigh against a "partisan" Secretary of State with Brod, whose Franken-bashing the GOP pushed center stage during Campaign '08.
As for the "many" troubled Minnesotans, do you suppose there are any who aren't hyperpartisan Republicans?
