    KSTP's Hauser: Car-ballot claim 'false'

    KSTP's Tom Hauser hits all the right notes in calling b.s. on the car-ballot fiction.

    OK, his "Truth Test" report actually calls the tale "false."

    For good measure, Hauser tags Gov. Pawlenty (twice) for spreading the manure. In fact, the guv's smiling visage is the last one you see before Hauser hangs an "F" grade around the tale's neck.

    I dinged KSTP yesterday for passing the guv's bunk along uncritically, but Hauser has more than redeemed the station today.
