As much in sorrow as anger, Star Tribune reporter Bill McAuliffe pens a depressing view of what it's like inside 425 Portland right now. It appears here in the Same Rowdy Crowd blog.
While I've spent many keystrokes on the business and numbers of Strib cutbacks, McAuliffe gives you a sense of the guts and heart. He also explains the buyout's impact on newsgathering. (And God bless him for ripping those stupid Peanuts statues out front!)
