Klobuchar admits tax error ... the good kind

In Politico, Amy Klobuchar is one of eight senators admitting that mistakes have been made on their tax returns. But don't get too upset; Klobuchar says her problem was overpaying in 2003.

The D.C. site asked senators about their 1040s in the wake of Tim Geithner's and Tom Daschle's well-publicized problems. Forty-three of 99 sitting lawmakers refused to participate in the survey. There was no independent corroboration of the senators' recollections.

It would be nice is Senator Amy K would remember her campaign promises. Better yet, it would be best if the news media would remind her of these promises.

Klobey was just being "patriotic", as Biden would say, by (over)paying.

Why is she taking the refund?

It's her liberal duty to overpay!
