This is one guy who'll really be sad if the two newspapers merge. Must be seen to be believed, from — where else? — the Pioneer Press Usual Suspects blog.
Via reporter Tad Vezner, who better not have encouraged this:
"I get a lot of stares. Sometimes I feel like a celebrity," says Jones, 33, who lives on St. Paul's East Side. The names of his daughters line his forearms; his back is a barrage of Bible scriptures. A woman or two peek from the morass. There's words about "Peace and Jesus", how "Death is certain, Life is not", and eight tears on his cheeks.
"It's like a story," he says. So he figured he would print the name of his hometown paper right smack above his eyelids (those are tattooed too), to tie it all together.
