Niskanen's excellent good-bye
By David Brauer | 02/25/11
St. Paul Pioneer Press outdoors editor Chris Niskanen bids farewell as he takes a job with the state Department of Natural Resources.
If you never read Chris, you'll get an indication of what you missed — honest tales of 92-pound sturgeons, Indian reservation flirtations and failing to save a drowning man. The loss to the profession will hopefully be made up by the contribution to the state.
