The annual Fortune magazine list of the 100 best places to work includes two Minnesota companies this year: the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, No. 63, and General Mills, in Golden Valley, No. 99.
Fortune says the Mayo clinic has "gold-plated medical benefits for part-timers, spouses, domestic partners, and children, including unlimited lifetime in-network benefits, free preventive-care services, and free worldwide Mayo air ambulance service."
General Mills gained its ranking because "employees benefit from award-winning wellness programs, including fitness centers, on-site medical clinics and health risk assessments."
