UnitedHealth Group Executive Vice President Dr. Reed Tuckson is on the cover of Black Enterprise magazine.

The magazine names Tuckson one of the “100 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America” in its February issue.

Black Enterprise selected candidates from large, publicly traded companies based on the influence they’ve had on both their company and industry.

Tuckson has been a member of federal advisory committees on genetics, health reform, infant mortality, children’s health, violence and radiation testing.

Before joining UnitedHealth in 2000, he was a senior vice president at the American Medical Association and, before that, one of the youngest-ever public health commissioners in Washington, D.C.
