The Pioneer Press' Nicole Garrison-Sprenger catches an interesting change at Travelers.
I'd normally type "St. Paul-based Travelers," but Garrison-Sprenger finds that in SEC filings the company has quietly changed the address of its principal office to New York. No press release on this one.
St. Paul is the company's second-largest location in the United States, but many of its top executives no longer live here. The change of address does not mean Travelers is planning to leave St. Paul altogether, CEO Jay Fishman tells the newspaper.
"New York is now my official office of residence," he says. "That's all it is."
