Delta again raises baggage fees: Domestic flights on Delta Air Lines will cost a bit more, thanks to another baggage fee hike from the Atlanta-based carrier. Delta is raising the cost for the first online checked bag by $8 to $23 and the second online checked bag by $7 to $32 for flights within the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada. Home Valu Interiors shutting down: Workers were notified of the company’s decision to liquidate last Friday and many officially lost their jobs on Monday, according to an employee who answered the phone at the corporate offices. The company’s website is offline. CEO Gerry Boschwitz said in a statement provided to area media outlets that the company was hurt by the depressed real estate market, frozen credit, a terrible economy and frightened consumers. Supervalu beats outlook, despite soft revenue: Supervalu today reported fiscal 2010 third quarter earnings of 51 cents per share, beating Wall Street analysts estimates by more than a dime. The grocery store operator and distributor’s stock shot up almost 9 percent to $14.08 per share this morning, before retreating slightly to $13.86. Read full story

Target announces vendors for revamped Target.com site: Target Corp. on Monday announced new vendors it has selected to assist in building and managing the new Target.com e-commerce platform. None of the companies are based in Minnesota. However, Oracle Corp. has a large office in Minneapolis. Read full story

Associated raises $415M in offering, posts loss: Associated Banc-Corp. said it priced its new stock offering at $11.15 per share, which was a discount to the stock’s closing price on Monday. The Green Bay-based corporate parent of Associated Bank , which has a large presence in the Twin Cities, estimated that the net proceeds from the offering were $415.9 million after deducting underwriting discounts and offering expenses.
