The Business Journal reports that Boston Scientific Corp. has bought an Irish developer of technology used to coat drug-eluting stents.
No report on the purchase price.
Boston Scientific is based in Natick, Mass., but has operations in Arden Hills and Maple Grove.
The Irish company, privately held Labcoat, has completed one clinical trial and is seeking regulatory approval to sell its stent in Europe.
