Pam Wheelock, a former state commissioner, former CFO of the Minnesota Wild, and now a Bush Foundation vice president, has been elected board chair of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
She's been on the Blue Cross board for six years, most recently as vice chairwoman and head of the finance and business development committees. She's also on the board at the College of St. Catherine, her alma mater.
Blue Cross also reports that Peter McNerney, general partner at Thomas, McNerney & Partners in Minneapolis, is now board vice chairman. He joined the Blue Cross board in 2002 and has served on the human resources, finance, business development and investment committees.
Bemjamin Field, retired senior financial advisor at Neenah, Wis.-based Bemis Co. Inc., was named secretary.
