Sure'n that's no wee bit o' Irish whiskey sold last year at the Local Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis. The bar, owned by two Irish exports (and experts), sold more Jameson Irish Whiskey than any place in the world, including Ireland.
They sold 671 cases of Jameson in 2008 -- the Associated Press did the math and says that's 22 bottles a day.
It's the third year the Local has won the Jameson sales contest. They'll get another plaque.
