Northwest Airlines passengers should notice changes this week as the airline continues its integration with Delta Air Lines.
Almost 40,000 airline employees will put on new Delta uniforms this week, "one of the first outwardly visible signs that the two airlines are now one," according to a Delta press release. The employees include pilots, flight attendants and gate and ticketing agents.
More changes happening this week: The airlines will unveil new food offerings, new in-flight video entertainment and a new in-flight magazine.
"We're working hard to integrate every aspect of the travel experience," Delta CEO Richard Anderson said in the company's statement.
