    Best Buy's online Black Friday sales up 24%: Best Buy Co. Inc.'s online sales on Black Friday were up 24 percent compared to last year, according to data released Sunday by Internet tracking firm comScore. Richfield-based Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) is the fifth most popular online retail site on Black Friday, according to comScore.     Mosaic merges two business units, writes off $50M for plant closures: Citing a need to reduce operating costs, the Mosaic Co. has consolidated its offshore and phosphates business units. The Plymouth-based fertiziler company’s potash business unit was unaffected by the change, which leaves it with two business segments. Mosaic (NYSE: MOS), a subsidiary of Minnetonka-based Cargill Inc., will also permanently close and write off two plants that have been idle since 2006. Read full story
