    Regions Hospital shelves $36M mental-health building as Minnesota cut aid: Count hundreds of construction workers among those hurt by Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s line-item veto of the state’s General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC) health insurance program for the poor. Regions Hospital, which is facing millions of dollars in state funding cuts, indefinitely delayed plans to build a $36 million mental-health facility on its downtown St. Paul campus, a project the hospital said would have created about 650 construction jobs.     Report: Thomson Reuters to cut 240 jobs: Thomson Reuters Corp. will cut 240 jobs in its legal businesses, The Wall Street Journal reports. The legal division includes Eagan-based Thomson Reuters West, which had about 6,600 Minnesota employees. It was not immediately known how many jobs in Minnesota will be affected by the cuts.     Ecolab boosts dividend 11%: Ecolab has increased its quarterly cash dividend by 11 percent to 15.5 cents per common share, the company announced Thursday. The dividend will be paid Jan. 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 15. Read full story

    Twins to offer Murray's sandwich at Target Field: The Minnesota Twins will offer a version of the Murray’s steak sandwich at Target Field, the team announced Thursday. Pat Murray, owner of Murray’s steakhouse in downtown Minneapolis, and the restaurant’s chef worked closely with the Twins and their food service partner to develop the sandwich. Read full story
