    Sun Country launching MSP-London flight: Sun Country Airlinesis going to London. But not in one hop. The Mendota Heights-based airline announced a new flight that will run weekly from June 11 through Aug. 15 between Minneapolis and London-Stansted airport. They will depart the Twin Cities on Fridays and return on Sundays. Read full story

    Select Comfort dismisses KPMG and hires Deloitte: Bed manufacturer and retailer Select Comfort has dismissed KPMG as its auditor, replacing the firm with Deloitte & Touche. Select Comfort said that in the past two fiscal years, there were no disagreements with KPMG on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure. In a letter accompanying the filing, KPMG also said it didn’t have any disagreements with Select Comfort over auditing procedures. Read full story

    General Mills moves ahead with say on pay: General Mills will follow its shareholders’ request and hold an advisory vote on executive compensation at its annual shareholder’s meeting this September. At the meeting last year, shareholds by a vote of 51 to 49 percent approved a “say on pay” policy, overruling the recommendation of the company’s board of directors. Read full story

    J.J. Taylor, Southern Wine launch joint venture in Minnesota: Beer distributor J.J. Taylor Distributing Co. of Minnesota is creating a joint venture with Southern Wine & Spirits of America to bringits products to Minnesota. The venture likely will bring new jobs to the Twin Cities, said Mike Bamonti, president and general manager of J.J. Taylor Distributing Co. of Minnesota. Read full story
