    New Prague bank shut down: Regulators on Friday shut down New Prague-based Community Security Bank, the worst capitalized bank in the Twin Cities, selling its assets to Waseca-based Roundbank. Under an agreement with the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Roundbank is paying a premium of 0.89 percent to assume all of Community Security Bank 's $99.7 million in deposits. Roundbank also agreed to purchase essentially all of the bank's $108 million in assets. Read full story

    General Mills throws switch on solar-powered facility: General Mills has activated the juice on its first solar-powered facility in the United States. Installation of solar panels at the company's Methuen, Mass., yogurt production facility is now complete and will supply about 80 percent of the warehouse's power in summer and half that in the other seasons.     Hecker outs business woman as benefactor: Denny Hecker has outed the anonymous benefactor who paid $125,000 to keep the former auto dealer out of jail as Nita Singh Johnson. Johnson, the founder and CEO of Maple Grove-based American Business Communication, declined to comment through a spokesman. Read full story

    Delta seeks more Rio routes for Detroit: Delta Air Lines has asked authorities in Brazil to OK more frequent service between the United States and that nation, which would allow increased flights between Detroit and Sao Paulo. Delta, which is based in Atlanta but maintains a hub at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, got approval to begin twice-weekly service between Detroit and Sao Paulo Oct. 21. Read full story
