Prosecutors say Lakeville man ran $79.5 million Ponzi scheme: Federal prosecutors on Friday charged a Lakeville man with bank fraud and providing a false income tax return over what authorities say was a Ponzi scheme that bilked 17 banks out of $79.5 million. Minnetonka woman accused of swindling $2 million from broadcasters: Hennepin County prosecutors have charged a Minnetonka woman with eight counts of theft by swindle, accusing her of taking up to $2 million from a radio broadcasting operation she worked for. Terry Schultz-Schech, 54, worked as an office manager and comptroller for Ingstad Brothers Broadcasting and Iowa City Broadcasting, according to the complaint filed by prosecutors. Read full story
