H.B. Fuller to expand in Kentucky: Manufacturer H.B. Fuller Co. plans to invest $825,000 to expand its operations in Paducah, Ky. St. Paul-based H.B. Fuller is a manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, paints and other specialty chemical products. The company’s adhesives are used in consumer goods such as cereal boxes, disposable diapers and refrigerators. The expansion will include the addition of another production line at the 280,000-square-foot Paducah plant. Read full story
FLW Outdoors gets Wal-Mart sponsorship and Pickens investment: At the same time that Minnesota businessman Irwin Jacobs is reviving his boat-building business, there’s also some good news for FLW Outdoors, the fishing tournament organization that he chairs. FLW announced today that Wal-Mart Stores Inc., a previous sponsor of the event, has returned as a title sponsor. It also announced that Texas billionaire and renewable energy advocate T. Boone Pickens has signed on as an equity holder and partner in FLW Outdoors. Read full story
Delta plans Iceland service for 2011: Delta Air Lines next summer will become the only U.S. airline with nonstop service from the United States to Iceland. Atlanta-based Delta will connect New York’s John M. Kennedy International Airport and Reykjavik Keflavik Internationaql Airport starting June 1, 2011, pending Icelandic government approval. The flight also will operate direct from Delta's hub in Minneapolis-St. Paul, with a stop at New York-JFK. Read full story
Target continues partnership with designer Derian: Target Corp. is continuing its relationship with New York-based designer John Derian, with plans to offer an exclusive Derian home decor and accessories line this fall. The collection features nearly 100 products all priced under $25. Home decor items include decorative trays, wall art and coasters, as well as stationery items, such as mini-journal sets and paper organizers. Read full story
