It’s that time of the week again. Do you know what your lawmakers were up to on their first week of spring recess? Here’s a look.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar traveled to Asia to talk energy, commerce, adoption and security with leaders in Vietnam, China and Japan. She also found time to visit Peking University where she visited with a group of students from the University of Minnesota.

Here’s a photo of the senator with Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsay Graham, R-S.C., at the “Hanoi Hilton,” where McCain was imprisoned for six years during the Vietnam War.

Meanwhile, Rep. Keith Ellison journeyed with Minnesota businesses to Saudi Arabia.

Ellison and Klobuchar both got a shout out in the New York Times for legislation that they have introduced that would “outlaw collusion between lender and brokers and other mortgage originators.”

Rep. John Kline traveled to Pakistan with a 10-member U.S. delegation to discuss Pakistan’s role in the global fight against terrorism, according to the Associated Press.

Rep. Tim Walz sent a letter (PDF) to President Obama requesting more transparency and accountability for earmarks.

Rep. Michele Bachmann hosted cap-and-trade forums in St. Cloud and Woodbury.

Rep. Collin Peterson continued to help fight the Red River flooding.

Rep. Jim Oberstar announced that the following Minnesota tribes would receive theses allowances for childcare and development from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act:
