Napolitano is living in a different dimension as the reset of america
a released homeland security memo indicated she believes returning american soldiers, people who believe abortion is wrong, people who are catholic, people who are against high taxes, and people who have a bob barr bumper sticker are terrorists. she thinks these people are more dangerous than people who cut off heads, use their children to carry suicide bombs and highjack ships at sea. she belives its legal to kill terrorists with a hellfire missle from a drone, but illegal to spray a little water in their face.
yesterday Napolitano the head of homeland security stated that crossing the border without proper authorization is NOT A CRIME. i guess this means whe should retire the boarder guards and open the gates at the boarder. Napolitano needs to be fired so she can accept the job of homeland security in her dimension, whereever that is.

You seem to be having some reading problems here.
I suspect that Bachmann's real objection to Napolitano is that she shows signs of actually doing something to promote our security, rather than fighting a war against a country that was not a threat to us.

she is pulling all the boarder guards from the mexican boarder to reinforce the canadian boarder guards as she thinks the terrorists are sneaking in from canada. drug killings and kidnapping in southern states is not as important it is to secure our canadian boards. after all it is not a crime to cross the boarder from mexico but is if you cross the canadian boarder. hey paul is good to do something even thought is is wrong.

And, Dave, you seem to have bought into the right-wing propaganda that says Ms. Napolitano is alleging that all members of these groups are violent terrorists. That is patently ridiculous.

What she DOES point out is that one or two ex-service members might, like the Oklahome City bombers, become angry and hate-filled enough to do terrible violence. As can one anti-abortion activist, like the sniper who killed doctors and others at clinics. As can one member of a hate-group that targets people of color or homosexuals or immigrants.

Now if government would just stop infiltrating peace groups in search of terrorists.

My understanding is that this report was begun and mostly completed under the prior administration. It is patently ridiculous that the rightwing conspiracy theorists - Rep Bachmann and many others - try to pin the blame on a director that's been sworn in to the job for three months.

When her eyes glaze over and she gets the far away look I think the voices in her head take control. I see the the same look on Paula Abdul. Perhaps she can replace Paula next season and we can leave the governing to serious people who aren't scared of gays, people who don't belive in God as much as she does, and anti-American congressmen.

unlike most members of congress and members of the mass media, who are deathly afraid of the groups you mention, michele bachmann like the recent miss california has the courage of her convictions. that is sign of a true leader who is willing to put country above the quest of getting reelected.

Not only was the report commissioned and prepared by the previous administration, there was a "companion" report that warned of potential threats from an equally broad category of "left-wing extremists."

"...courage of her convictions". It is unfortunate that people throw around phrases like that out when trying to deny civil rights. It is a phrase people cling to when they can't possibly consider other opinions. I am sure those trying to deny civil rights in the 50's and 60's had "courage of their convictions". Was her courage on display when she was hiding behind the bushes in close proximity to the gay rights rally? Was she courageous when she tried to deny that she said what we heard her say on Hardball, as if video recording technology did not yet exist? I think you may be confusing courage with delusion.
