WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Michele Bachmann called this week for the resignation of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
Republicans have been lambasting Napolitano since last week when Homeland Security Department memo warning of "rightwing extremists" was leaked to the blogosphere, according to the Hill.
Bachmann criticized the secretary during a floor speech on Wednesday, calling for her to appear before Congress in a hearing.
The Hill also notes that the department put out a similar report on "leftwing extremism."
