    Smart Politics analyzes House donations

    WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Humphrey Institute’s Smart Politics breaks down the large donations to Minnesota’s U.S. representatives in the most recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) reports.

    Among other things, Smart Politics found that business owners and executive officers comprised the largest group of big donors, followed by retirees and doctors/dentists. These three groups favored the GOP.
