Here's what I'm gleaning from a host of media poll-watchers around town.
Minnesota Independent reports a power outage in St. Paul due to a truck hitting a power pole. Power has been restored. Also, a voting machine at Cedar-Riverside's Brian Coyle Center broke, but was quickly fixed. University of Minnesota polling places were "mobbed but orderly."
Via Ourvotelive.org, incomplete ballots in a Maple Grove precinct with a $20 fee to vote. Unconfirmed, and kinda hard to believe. You can see the group's running Minnesota complaint list here; there are 11 problems reported so far.
MPR's News Cut has a couple of commenters who say their registration via the "DMV" didn't take. Said one, "Thank God for same-day registration or we wouldn't have gotten to vote."
Several reports of election officials thoughtfully putting in Porta-potties for voters.
The Strib's running story is here, and the PiPress' is here.
