Obama to make Minnesota stop next week

President Barack Obama will stop in southern Minnesota as part of an economic bus tour next week, the White House announced Tuesday.

The White House has not released a thorough schedule, but according to a press release, Obama will make stops in southern Minnesota, northeastern Iowa and western Illinois to "discuss ways to grow the economy, strengthen the middle class and accelerate hiring in communities and towns across the nation and hear directly from Americans, including local families and small business owners."

The tour will will last between Monday and Wednesday, and more information will be released soon.

Obama's last stop in Minnesota was in October when he held a rally supporting then-gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton at the University of Minnesota.
