  1. Consistency

Just where does Cravaack think that FEMA’s money will come from if the tax cuts he advocates were enacted?

    1. Yup!

Keep that gub’mint small, right up until I need it to impress my constituents into voting me back into office come November!

  2. If Chip Had The Courage of His Convistions:

Rep. Cravaack today announced that local government officials should not count on any financial resources from the federal government. “I’ve been saying that we need to shrink the size of the federal government, and the best place to start is right here in my own district. Government functions best when it’s closest to the citizens. Hopefully, local officials won’t even be asking the State of Minnesota for help. Also, I will be introducing legislation to get the federal government out of the flood insurance business.”

Oh wait, Chip wants to get re-elected. Well, forget it.

  3. Love from afar.

Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken were on the same tour, so why did Rep. Cravaack get the headline to himself? Probably because it was expected of Klobuchar and Franken, since they’re from Minnesota. But Cravaack must be doing this out of a sense of philanthropy, since his family lives in New Hampshire.

  4. Typical republican

Hypocrisy. Govt benefits for me but no one else. 8th district get used to nothing for your intelligent vote 2 years ago.
