Wisconsin senator's wife plans to sign recall petition against him
By Eric Black | 03/15/11
Protesters who showed up at the home of Wisconsin state Sen. Randy Hopper, R-Fond du Lac, got some surprising news from his wife. She plans to sign the recall petition against him.
Is it because she wants him spending more time at home? Not exactly. Hopper's wife alleges that the senator has moved out and is living in Madison with a young woman.

And we need to know this because.....?
Tabloid journalism?
He must be thrown out of office for living outside of his district.
Hey this is fair game. These guys all run on a family values platform and are bound and determined to save the sacred institution of marriage by denying civil rights to gays and lesbians. The weirdest thing about Republican voters is that they pretend to believe "character" is a primary issue, yet they cast more votes for slime bags than any other demographic in the nation.
Good ol' Republican Family Values!
Moderators need not moderate my comment. I have pre-moderated myself. Suffice it to say that propensity for deceit and amoral behavior seem to be the default setting for the radical right. For example, take Newt Gingrich. Please. (h/t Henny Youngman)
In response to bea sinna; We need to know this because it's funny!!
Well, I guess you CAN make this stuff up, but it's so much better when these sanctimonious hypocrites hoist themselves on their own petard.
They go to the Republican Senator's house and his wife wants to sign the petition for his recall because the dude is cheating on her and two commenters here don't think that's worth knowing?
Its not like they went out of their way to dig up dirt, the information was freely given by the wife. It's 'found' information. It should not be used in the recall campaign against him, oh gosh, no, but it the public should be made aware so they can make an informed decision on the character of the Representative.
And, as a wise man had stated, we need to know it because its funny!
This is news? Yet another family values hypocrite is caught with his pants around his ankles? What makes that worth any notice at all?
There's more info going around that the girl friend is a lobbyist residing in Madison. But I've never seen anything about his getting a divorce.
You are quoting a blog quoting a blog unattributed. It may be true, but nothing you have here confirms it. Seems a bit lazy, doesn't it, to cut and paste on this and then run a declarative headline?
