Not that it’s any big surprise at this point, but former Gov. Palin made it official today that she will not seek the presidency in 2012.

I believe that means the Repubs will have to focus on those already in the race.

  1. Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and any Conservative Republican are turned upside down and inside out. Over three dozen investigative journalists flew to Alaska after Sarah Palin was announced as a VICE presidential candidate. Who investigated even obama’s moral teacher, the Jeremiah Alvesta Wright, Jr.Obama was never sufficiently vetted.

  2. “Not at this time,” and, with luck, not ever, nor, with luck, will she find herself once again in a government position that carries with it actual power and responsibility. A creature of no substance and little knowledge, but a superb knack for self-promotion, I expect her to be on the public scene for some time to come, though I certainly hope she’s speaking to minuscule audiences.

  3. Guess Palin just raised more red flags.
The one who fell down on vetting was John McCain.

  4. Palin clearly didn’t appreciate the uncontrolled media attention she got when ran for vice president, and it would have been a hundred times more intense as a presidential candidate. Besides, I don’t think she really wanted the job, just the celebrity that would go along with it. Well she’s got the celebrity, who needs the job?

  5. She won’t seek the presidency, but I’m sure, in her own mind, the presidency will seek her.

  6. I think it’s instructive how Palin’s biggest haters were liberal men. Look up “mommy issues” in your DSM-IV.

  7. Dennis, as a Licensed Psychologist I gave up on the DSM years ago.
It’s like the Bible; you can find anything you want in there, but it explains nothing.

  8. Dennis-

There’s a licensed psychologist up in St. Cloud who does diagnoses based on tweets.

Perhaps you two could start a co-practice?
