    BREAKING: Arlen Specter Switches Parties

    Just announced/confirmed this a.m.  Specter is the long-time moderate Repub from Pennsylvania. This gives the Dems a 59-40 Senate majority, which will become the filibuster-proof 60-40 if Al Franken gets seated. Big implications for the Obama agenda and possibly for the last stages of the Coleman/Franken case. More analysis coming soon.
