Scene and substance at MinnPost Asks debut
A full house mingled, munched and sipped as MinnPost Asks, MinnPost's new Q&A event series, debuted Monday night at Hell's Kitchen with an as-promised lively interview featuring leaders of the Minnesota House.
Majority Leader Matt Dean (filling in for an ailing Kurt Zellers) and Minority Leader Paul Thissen debated, quipped and otherwise responded to both interviewer Doug Grow and attendees, addressing all manner of legislative issues — from the newly lowered budget deficit to prospects for a Vikings stadium and plans for engaging Minnesotans in the session.
