Tickets for MinnPost’s “Lucky 7” Anniversary Celebration are now on sale here.
The party will be Thursday, Nov. 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at Solera Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.
Special features include delicious food and birthday cake, a cash bar, a live jazz band, silent auction and holiday gift bazaar with mobile bidding, and plenty of newsmakers and journalists to chat with.
The silent auction will open for online bidding on Oct. 29 and continue through 7:30 on the night of the event. We’re offering lots of unique items, and you can do your holiday shopping and support independent nonprofit journalism at the same time.
This year’s “Lucky 7” Raffle Prize is a basket of $100 gift cards for each of seven fine eateries: La Belle Vie, Lucia’s, Masu Sushi & Robata, Sassy Spoon, Smack Shack, Solera, and W.A. Frost. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $20, available by cash or check, in advance or the night of the party. The winning ticket will be drawn shortly after 7:30 p.m. and you do not have to be present to win. You do have to be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.
