Help MinnPost build a Book Club Club

By Laurie Kramer | Published Mon, Jun 29 2009 9:30 am

No that's not a typo. MinnPost is creating a club made up of book clubs -- a community of engaged readers -- with a presence on our site called Book Club Club. Sarah T. Williams, former books editor of the Star Tribune, will host the Book Club Club, which will launch this fall. More about her role in weeks to come.

Audra Otto, who has literary degrees from St. Thomas and the National University of Ireland and experience in many aspects of publishing, is helping us reach out to diverse book club members in the metro and around the state -- to get your ideas about how to build and sustain this community.

Sound intriguing? Contact Audra at aotto [at] minnpost [dot] com or 651-332-6371 to get involved.

Laurie Kramer is MinnPost's director of membership, special events and outreach.

Inside MinnPost will be the place for MinnPost staff to talk about what's going on in our enterprise. We hope to engage in a conversation with our readers, with current and prospective members and advertisers, and others interested in our grand experiment in high-quality, not-for-profit local journalism. The blog will be coordinated by Joel Kramer, MinnPost's CEO and Editor, with frequent contributions from other staff members.
