Welcome to MinnPost's Book Club Club.
With 70 private book clubs and 112 public clubs already registered, this club probably has 2,000 members on Day One.
If you haven't heard yet about the BCC, it's a virtual community of existing book clubs and engaged readers, hosted by Sarah T. Williams, former books editor of the Star Tribune.
Book clubs of all sizes, themes and types that meet anywhere in the state are welcome to join. Membership is free.
On the BCC pages, we'll be covering all sorts of things of interest to book club members and other engaged readers.
We know the section will evolve, but here’s what you’ll find today at launch:
The comment queues are open at the end of every story and post. Let us know what you think.
All MinnPost comments are pre-screened for civility and relevance. With this group, we’re not too worried.
Laurie Kramer is MinnPost's director of membership, special events and outreach.
