If you were one of the lucky 400+ news junkies and newsmakers at MinnRoast 2008, or one of the very lucky 600+ at MinnRoast 2009, you won’t need a sales pitch for MinnRoast 2010. We’ll just say: buy tickets now!
For those who weren’t, here’s the pitch:
MinnRoast is MinnPost’s annual event to raise money for high-quality journalism for people who care about Minnesota. This year’s goal: $100,000.
Plus, it’s a great event -- a Gridiron-style show poking gentle fun at the media and the people we cover. With pre- and post-show receptions, an unusual silent auction, a terrific raffle prize ... and a complimentary MinnRoast Martini for the first 500 people to arrive.
The basics: Monday, April 26. Show at Pantages Theatre and receptions next door at Seven: The Steakhouse. More info and tickets here.
We’ll keep updating the site with more performers, more sponsors, auction item details, etc.
But don’t wait. Pantages has only 999 seats.
