    Ratchet the dog has new home in Minnesota

    A six-month-old puppy rescued several months ago from a pile of trash in Iraq has finally made it to its new home in Minnesota. Ratchet made national news due to the efforts of an animal rescue group that worked to bring the dog back to the United States.

    The group flew into Baghdad on Sunday and picked up up the dog, which was adopted by Army Spc. Gwen Beberg, 28, of Minneapolis.
