With the title "Dark Lord of the Ring," MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" talks about Dick Cheney's alleged involvement with a possible 'executive assassination ring' first reported by investigative reporter Seymour Hersh at a forum in Minneapolis.
At the 1:10 min. mark, Olbermann notes MinnPost's email correspondence with Hersh, who after the event wrote that it's "not something I wanted to dwell about in public."
Olbermann then shares the CIA's response to Minnpost journalist Eric Black, labeling Hersh's allegations "utter nonsense."
Read more from MinnPost about the described "executive assassination ring" and listen to Hersh's entire speech.
