    Maple syrup: sweet and sustainable

    How about maple candy, maple cookies or maple cake? March is maple syruping time. This month, Minnesota State Parks will show visitors how maple syrup is made. Hand drill a hole, place a bucket underneath and wait for the syrup to flow. It may be a lot of work for a little syrup, but the result is oh, so sweet.
