    Nun study on Alzheimer's returns to the U

    The brains of donor nuns in Minnesota are being used to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Around 600 sisters, many of them from Mankato, volunteered their brains to be used after death in a study conducted by the University of Minnesota. The study recently returned to Minnesota after having moved to the University of Kentucky. In this video Dr. Karen Santa Cruz dissects one of the brains while looking for signs of Alzheimer’s.
