Death-squad allegations resurface on CNN
CNN's Wolf Blitzer interviews investigative reporter Seymour Hersh about his claim that former Vice President Dick Cheney's office supervised an assassination team with a hit list of suspected terrorists.
MinnPost's Eric Black had an audio recorder running in the audience when Hersh first mentioned his reporting on this group during a public symposium at the University of Minnesota. Black writes, "Two high-ranking former aides first denied Dick Cheney's involvement in a death squad, then proceed to confirm almost all claims of it."
During the first minute of the interview, Blitzer and Hersh revisit what was said in that night at the U of M with audio credit given to MinnPost.
